That's probably mostly due to getting older and more experienced. It could have happened during any series of decades, IMO. (Giving up on fairy tales, being more results-oriented, seeing that you probably will fail 50% of the time.

Obviously the 90s weren’t perfect and trans people were treated like shit but we have gone on PC overload.

Clubbing on the weekend and the occasional dance party. That feeling of looking forward to social events as the chance to dress up and act up.

You had to go out to meet guys to hook up with. I miss that thrill of being in a bar or club or party and seeing someone you fancied and then making them notice you. The thrill of the chase and being chased.

Staying at the Westside YMCA and having fun in the showers late at night with the guys who had come from the bars and were looking for action.
