She got her big break as a country singer in 1987 when she was 45 with an album and single calle Eighties ladies. She enjoyed a late in life stardom/career making albums, she even did some acting.She kept until she made enough to retire comfortably and retired, Unfortunately she died in 2021 due to complications from Covid

I really like her voice. Had no idea that she died four years ago.
Here’s a nice version she did of an old Andrews Sisters song. It’s soft and gentle with a touch of swing.
