OP, the Conservative Party of Canada and other figures on the right like Tucker Carlson have been obsessed with Justin Trudeau's sexuality for a long time:

- there have been political ads in previous elections implying Trudeau is effeminate

- disgusting homophobic/incestuous jokes about Trudeau and his teenage soon when they posted a photo at the Barbie movie together last year

- Tucker Carlson saying Trudeau is in the closet during an event in Alberta last year

- and there have also been right-wingers on Twitter who have been implying that Trudeau's teenage son Xavier is gay, too
