Republicans ‘outraged’ as Labour sends 100 staff to help Harris
[quote]Labour is sending almost 100 current and former party staff members to the US to campaign for the Democrats in swing states. Activists from Sir Keir Starmer’s party will spend the next two-and-a-half weeks canvassing for Kamala Harris in four key battlegrounds ahead of the US election on Nov 5. They will target Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Virginia, which are all seen as crucial to Ms Harris’ path to the White House.
[quote]Republicans described the plans as an “outrage” on Thursday and warned they would damage the UK’s relationship with the US should Donald Trump win the presidency. Elon Musk reacted to the news on X by saying: “This is illegal.”

[quote]The Federal Election Commission, which regulates US elections, states that foreign volunteers may not donate money to campaigns or spend money on their behalf. They cannot “participate in the decision-making process” but they may, however, participate in activities as an “uncompensated volunteer”.

Republicans have the Russians and Iranians, plus Bibi Warmonger. So they can go cry more somewhere else.

r2 He also has Musk donating $75 million to his campaign, so far. A South African who once described his immigration status as a "gray area." Thiel is another foreigner trying to influence the US elections with his billions. But these 100 volunteers who'll be knocking on doors are "illegal."

The new foreign secretary called Trump a Nazi and KKK member. But they had dinner 2 months ago and it's all cool now.
