Setting aside how truly appalling their behavior has been, how rich are these people that they have that much money to throw around.
Where are they getting all this money? Geez, if they have that kind of money, why aren't they actually using it to help the sick, poor, and needy?

Catholics are the most intellectually and culturally feral people on our planet. They are thoroughly corrupt. If / when you encounter one, the only logical response is extreme skepticism snd—frankly— fear.
