R16 did Baby Boomers have this moment with Gen X? Where they were like, no, you're outnumbered and you're nobody. Go away, child.

These are mostly Gen Xer's kids. So, whatever the hell Gen X saw as "good parenting" is what caused this mess.

Basically, most of DL's peers are the parents of Gen Z. And let's be real, if most DLers were having procreative sex, these would be your brats, too. Gen X parenting is a joke.

I remember a Gen X friend telling me that her daughter (aged 12) had become a school refuser and was being home schooled. If you refused school in the 20th century you risked being taken into care.

The only positive is that Gen Z will not reproduce in vast numbers. Only about 30% want children. A huge number are sex negative or identify as asexual. In polls on Tumblr with thousands of votes, about a third say they've never had sex and don't want it either.
