Yes, she was lazy, and yes, she wasn't experienced, but Gary is a lousy boss. Instead of taking the time to try and train her, he barked at her, was impatient, and he made her feel stupid. That kind of approach is never going to motivate anyone to want to do better.

Emma had a bad attitude. Gary's not a great boss but she seemed to lack basic skills and knowledge.

And she was never around to do the work. Glad she's gone. But kind of worried who is going to show up to take her place.
