Body parts in freezer identified as girl missing since 2005
In January, according to a neighbor, the new owners of the Grand Junction house held a garage sale to get rid of things that the previous owners had left behind. Among those items they were looking to sell was a deep freezer.
The neighbor said some people showed up to buy the freezer and when they opened it up to remove the meat, a human head fell out of a plastic bag.

What a confusingly-written article. She's been missing since 2005 but she was never reported missing? Huh?
by Anonymous | reply 1 | October 13, 2024 7:45 AM

She hasn't been seen or heard from since 2005. Her mother and step-father never filed a missing persons report. Her friends have been searching for her but since they're not family members the police wouldn't take a report. Stepdad died in 2021 and mom sold the house including the freezer and skipped town.

Isn't that kind of suspicious that her own parents wouldn't report a minor as missing?

Bet the stepdad was diddling her, mom found out and blamed her daughter for "tempting her man", stepdad killed the abused kid, they cut her up together and tossed her in the deep freezer.

Deranged and disgusting to think that the mother and stepdad were living their lives in this house with the daughter’s severed head and hands in their garage freezer for almost two decades. I cannot fathom it. It’s also insane that the mother would sell the house and leave it behind to be discovered by the new owners. I hope the police are able to track down this sick cunt and lock her away.

R14 where does it say when the new owners bought this house with the macabre deep freezer? Maybe they are the ones who lived 10-20 years with the unknown surprise. At the very least, they paid to run that machine all the time they lived in the house and never thought to empty it?

I can imagine the mom doing her daily errands, driving, sipping her Starbucks coffee - then her eyes bugging out after remembering she left her daughter’s head in the freezer she just gave away. Like she left the stove on or something. She probably merged onto the interstate and kept driving south to the border.

R45. It’s not without precedent. There was a Nee Jersey businessman who kept his mistress’s body in a barrel in his basement for 50 years. He left it there when he moved. The new owners obviously didn’t want a barrel cluttering the basement and quickly discovered the body. The killer committed suicide to avoid prosecution.
There are several cases of women keeping dead babies in freezers for several years at least. Véronique Coujault is one example, but there are several others.

Amanda was raised by her grandma until about two years before her death. She was sent to live with her step mom and dad after that. The couple were hoarders. The step dad died in 2021. The house was foreclosed on so the mother was evicted. It seems some friends tried to report her missing but couldn’t.

They probably just told the school she was being homeschooled. And told her friends that, too. Homeschooled kids back then were freaks so that her dropping all of her public school and childhood friends after starting homeschooling would seem more "acceptable" than telling everyone she ran away, while would necessitate at least one call to law enforcement.
