They might not know all about her or her career, but they likely had an idea of who she was and more importantly what she represented.

Friends have seen her docu and say it’s very good and interesting- these are not necessarily fans either. She’s had her demons and challenged but she is certainly a great entertainer. And what a life beginning with her parents. I’ve met her a couple times and she is as nice and down to earth as anyone I’ve met casually- certainly anyone who is even a little bit famous.

I agree with Charlie (hey Charlie!) about Liza being down to earth. I met her once and she acted like an average person and just made casual small talk. If anything, I think she let be it known she was just a middle-aged woman who was struggling to get through the day like everyone else. Totally approachable and relatable.

Of course Charlie knows Liza, he knows EVERYBODY! But he couldn’t just give his experience, there’s the part where he needs to teach us her background.
