I had a post banned because I referred to the Affordable Care Act as ObamaCare. And this wasn't a post asking about people's political views on it. It was just asking if people had policies and if they saved much money.
What's next? Washington state and Washington DC should be referred to as President state and President DC?

Just move onto a different platform. There are tons of them now. Why bother with that one?
Get the email addresses of the handful of people with who you actually want to converse and/or find out the social media most of the rest of the few you like use, go there, then punch and delete FB.
It's just a website not a years long marriage where you own property together OP.

Facebook is for the old, the sad, and the lonely. It's for posting that stupid shit that used to wind up in the photocopied Xmas letters inserted in a holiday photo card of a family trying to put on its best face; it's for your auntie to see that you are still alive and to remind you, in the midst of a political discussion, of that cole slaw recipe of your other aunt who's dead.
I use it to follow some local event but scarcely anyone of my acquaintance (any of my 'friends') posts anything at all.

Yes indeed, we too use "cookies." Take a look at our privacy/terms or if you just want to see the damn site without all this bureaucratic nonsense, click ACCEPT. Otherwise, you'll just have to find some other site for your pointless bitchery needs.
