We need publicly funded elections and spending caps like most countries. What a waste of money on all sides.

Back in t he mid 80's when Jesse Jackson ran for POTUS in 84 and again in 88, an old time African American politician/strategist took some of us youngsters to school. He said in order for an African American to be considered a serious candidate they needed three things: The ability to raise serious money; the ability to attract white votes, and credible endorsements. This is how we knew Obama would win. He raised serious money, he attracted white votes and he got substantial serious endorsements. And that is why I believe Kamala is gonna win.
