Amanda Seyfried and Sydney Sweeney will star in Paul Feig’s “The Housemaid”

Trailer dropped today

I haven’t read the book but judging from the trailer this just looks like a millennial version of “The Hand that Rocks the Cradle” story.

It’s like reworking “Fatal Attraction” and making both the wife and the mistress mentally ill.

I watched the trailer and I could barely tell the two of them apart. It was a bit confusing.

The writer of the book is a hack. She writes a few books a year, on top of her job as a neurosurgeon.

She's constantly being accused of plagiarizing other books. That's exactly what she does. They're the book version of a Lifetime movie. I tried reading one of her books and it was crap. I only read 40% of the book and already knew what the ending was going to be

Movie looks pretty boring. I'm tired of Sydney having a new movie out every few months and/or being the center of the news cycle every other month.

Is Sydney Sweeney actually an actress? I thought she just posed and pouted all the time.
