Elon Musk heralded Donald Trump on Saturday as the only candidate “to preserve democracy in America."
The CEO of SpaceX and Tesla who also purchased X, Musk joined Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania, where the former president survived an assassination attempt in July. He warned “this will be the last election” if Trump doesn’t win and, clad in a black-on-black cap bearing the “Make America Great Again” slogan of Trump’s campaign, appeared to acknowledge the foreboding nature of his remarks.

Before a massive crowd on Saturday, Musk sought to portray Trump as a champion of free speech, arguing that Democrats want “to take away your freedom of speech, they want to take away your right to bear arms, they want to take away your fight to vote, effectively.” Musk went on to criticize a California effort to ban voter ID requirements.

Elon Musk is simply aligning himself with who he has concluded will be the most likely successful candidate. He is an opportunist who is attaching himself to the anti-Democrat wave that has arisen due to the disastrous Biden/Harris administration, among other things because Donald Trump is proving to be even more amenable to the neocon cabal's imperialistic enterprises than before, so he isn't really a threat (he has already threatened to raze Iran to the ground and brings billionaires like the Johnson family and Musk to his rallies, not to mention that he's already suggested that he is likely to include degenerate ghoul Mike Pompeo in his administration).
We're between a rock and a hard place and the only common denominator is the shocking level of incompetence of the candidates presented by the uniparty's two branches, as well as the shameless displays of political tampering in which the billionaire donor class are engaging.
