The numbers are seasonally adjusted, R2. Further, the gains came from hospitality and healthcare. Retail only accounted for 16k of the 254k report.

Hopefully the eventual downward revision isn't too bad, because it'll look like Biden was cooking the numbers for Kamala.

Anyway, all is lined up for her economically, Helene notwithstanding. Obviously the voters will still inevitably be comparing the prices now with the prices from four years ago, can't do anything about that.

A month out from the election and a job is a job, R4, although I can't help but point out that some of these jobs are doctors, nurses, managerial and sales and not just clerical/menial. And at least these healthcare and hospitality jobs won't disappear in 3 months.

R2 That's still a great sign for the economy - it means companies are expecting an extraordinary Holiday season with a robust economy. Customers will be spending, spending, spending - and everyone in the retail chain (from the wholesalers to retailers) need additional help. If they weren't hiring for the holidays, we should all be worried.

We couldn't buy toilet paper when their precious Orange Jesus was in power. There were miles and miles of people in their cars, waiting in line for food banks during the Trump years. COVID killed over 1 million Americans. Our healthcare system was so overwhelmed they had to store the dead in trucks outside of the hospitals, in refrigerated trucks. Our healthcare workers wore garbage bags and re-wore masks and respirators for weeks in end. The store shelves were bare for weeks. Trump was laughed at by other world leaders.

Trump supporters are retarded. Flat out ignoramuses. Things weren't better under Trump. Repeating it doesn't make it reality.

Yet, R18, for many people, it seems, they remember being flush with money in 2020 due to checks they received that were signed by Trump.

Hike interest rates back up.
