I don't think the OP understands the actual power dynamics. Especially in terms of military/tech capacity. Israelis will be stressed out and a few may die, Iron Dome is far from infallible... but Israel is currently far, far from doomed.

Terrorists in Jaffa also gunned down 8 Israelis minutes before the missiles hit. Hard to say if the two were connected though as this is pretty much just a regular occurrence for Israelis. The US has school shooters, Israel has Islamic "martyrs".
