Since you mentions MSW, this "Pushing Up Roses" video came up on my YouTube feed. This YouTuber does a commentary on lots of different episodes.

I loved the dark tone you occasionally got in some episodes, where Jessica had nothing to smile about at the end of the episode.

Anyone remember the episode where the a young Andrew Stevens tried to get into her panties?

R3 "Lovers And Other Killers", exactly the type of dark tone I mentioned above! Interesting it was the first episode filmed after the pilot but pushed back a bit in release, possibly as it was less humorous and more threatening. That's the one where she gets lobbed down the stairs!

The first few episodes were more threatening. In the pilot Jessica is dragged off a NY street and almost stabbed, then the confrontation makes it look like the killer will try to drown her.

In the second episode Jessica is stalked in her home during a thunderstorm by a gun-toting killer.

"Weave a Tangled Web" was a rather weak episode but Angela putting her gigantic FUPA on display in a pair of jeans was an iconic moment for sure!

Dame Angela had a neck lift and lost weight between seasons 1 and 2. The image at OP is from the first episode of season 2. Maybe she wanted to glam up to show off her new look?
