SAD LAST DAYS? Netflix 'locking' certain movies now

The new Netflix rates kicked in this week and I'm now seeing ads where there used to be none.

But today I tried to queue up a movie ("The Miracle Club," RIP Maggie Smith) and there was a lock symbol on it and the message that this movie was only available to those on a higher-tier plan.

I'm about to go on a streaming service purge and Netflix just made the case for me.

I dropped Netflix last year after the Bakeoff season was over. Have recently been considering renewing it, but I'm not encouraged by reading this.

YouTube is also force-feeding me the ads, incredibly obnoxious.

How dare they try to use our dear Maggie as a marketing wedge when her body isn’t even cold yet!

If I can’t watch “Ladies in Lavender” later, they’re going to hear about it, alright! And what will they take next - “Enchanted April”??
