I can understand why he'd become more sympathetic to Erik Menendez after playing him, especially after acting out the trauma of the interviews regarding the alleged abuse.

Though I do wonder if some of his public stance is to appease the real brothers who've (predictably) thrown their toys out the pram over all this - even though I bet they're loving all the new attention.
