My memory of Shirley Temples were that it was way too sweet for my liking, even as a sugar addicted kid. Thankfully I no longer drink soft drinks/pop so I'll have to rely on the reviews.

Saranac has had a Shirley Temple soda for a long ass time.

The drink was named a Shirley Temple because of the actual Shirley Temple. It was HER signature recipe.

In 1988 I do believe she sued a company for using the name.

Boylan also has a Shirley Temple soda. But those aren’t the big names sodas and aren’t available everywhere so most don’t know.

I have 2 pomegranate trees on my property. I never thought they were used in a Shirley Temple. I thought it was just cherry juice and 7-Up or Sprite.
