I fell in love with "Tonight's the Night."
It's such a sexy and sultry song, especially with his raspy voice.
By contrast, I also love "Rhythm of My Heart." It has a very British feel to it, which I love.

Maggie May.
He should have stopped there.

Rhythm of My Heart sounds Irish.
Is Rod Stewart Irish?

The First Cut Is The Deepest is best sung by the writer of the song Cat Stevens.

He was sexy when he was younger.
Start at 2:07. I wonder if any men were lucky enough to stick their tongues in that.

Only if you've never heard P.P. Arnold's sublime recording.

I really loved "Love Touch" from 'Legal Eagles.' In college, me and my terrified gay friends jokingly referred to AIDS as the 'Love Touch.'

His time with The Faces were some of the greatest rock and roll of the late 60s/very early 70s.
Those songs slapped and still do

I like early Rod who was a weird mix of gender bending glam rock, folk, blues and rock and roll. His musical taste got very mainstream, slick and super cheesy later on though one could appreciate behind it was a real musician, I didn't enjoy the entire mid section of his career.

I like Rod because he was never homophobic and supported his gay friends.
The Killing of Georgie was based on someone he knew. He also supported Long John Baldry when he was ill and dying.
