Misha asked everyone in the room, why they were voting for Kamala Harris.

Mark Shepard, Curtis Armstrong, Ruth Connell, Rob Benedict, Jim Beaver, and Richard Speight Jr. all gave great answers. They were all very sincere.

When it came to Jensen, he was like, um..... pretty much what Mark said. And then he mentioned his daughters, and that he was voting for Harris because of them, and because he wanted to be "on the right side of history."

I think he's begrudgingly voting for her because his wife is probably forcing him to. My guess is that it's primarily because of the abortion ban issue.

But yeah, color me unimpressed.

It is my understanding that Ackles comes from a conservative family in Texas and that his father was very involved in right-wing politics when Jensen was younger. I think it took Jensen a few years to establish his own political identity separate from his father but Jensen has been supporting the Dems for several years now.
