One of the things I admire most about Orville Peck is he figured out exactly what his gifts were and also exactly what his interests were, and he drew a Venn diagram and positioned his career exactly where the two overlay. With his looks and his powerful voice, he could have made it as a closeted C&W singer who sang cheesy songs about God or Applebee's , but he decided he wanted something else for himself.

He's much sexier and less creepy now that he ditched the vaginal fringe from his masks. I still think he'd do better if he ditched the masks altogether (since he's a good looking guy), but in interviews he is convinced that they are integral to his persona.
