I’m shocked DL doesn’t know about him. Christopher Reeve’s son is a journalist who works on ABC
Will Reeve went from having both parents to becoming an Orphan at 13

What makes you think people don’t know about him?
by Anonymous | reply 1 | September 15, 2024 11:25 PM |
He is co-hosting the Emmys red carpet on ABC right now, and he looks hot AF.
by Anonymous | reply 2 | September 15, 2024 11:33 PM |
He looks hot as usual, but he is sucking in this role.
by Anonymous | reply 3 | September 15, 2024 11:35 PM |
OP, we all know about him, dumbass.
by Anonymous | reply 4 | September 15, 2024 11:35 PM |
He is hot. Like his late father
by Anonymous | reply 5 | September 15, 2024 11:35 PM |
R4 clearly not based on the Emmy thread. Show fucking respect for once and actually check before running your mouth
by Anonymous | reply 6 | September 15, 2024 11:36 PM |
R6 Go back to sleep, gramps
by Anonymous | reply 7 | September 15, 2024 11:37 PM |
I'm going to see the doc on Saturday. I know I'll have to bring tissues.
by Anonymous | reply 8 | September 15, 2024 11:40 PM |
I’d eat his ass.
by Anonymous | reply 9 | September 15, 2024 11:41 PM |
Never heard of him.
by Anonymous | reply 10 | September 15, 2024 11:44 PM |
He's not hot. At all.

[quote] I’m shocked DL doesn’t know about him
We've had numerous threads on him.
by Anonymous | reply 12 | September 15, 2024 11:59 PM |
He's handsome. He definitely inherited some of dad's facial features and that neck.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | September 16, 2024 12:00 AM |
Discussed him ad nauseam
by Anonymous | reply 14 | September 16, 2024 12:00 AM |
He's one of my faves. Would totally let him wreck my hole.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | September 16, 2024 12:02 AM |
OP people who are orphans ALWAYS GO FROM HAVING BOTH PARENTS. ALWAYS YOU HEAR ME.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | September 16, 2024 12:03 AM |
Is he a homosexual?
by Anonymous | reply 17 | September 16, 2024 12:03 AM |
He reminds me of someone else very handsome.
by Anonymous | reply 19 | September 16, 2024 12:08 AM |
Trying too hard with the chick.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | September 16, 2024 12:11 AM |
I remember during lockdown he was one of many reporters caught zooming without pants. Ah, what a time it was.
"Comments are turned off," heh.
by Anonymous | reply 21 | September 16, 2024 12:15 AM |
He turned out very nice.
By the way, pants are overrated.
by Anonymous | reply 22 | September 16, 2024 12:24 AM |
Too bad he was wearing underwear.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | September 16, 2024 12:26 AM |
R23 he was on tv. He would have lost his job if he wasn’t.
Is anyone shocked the son of Chris Reeve is attractive? Chris Reeve was gorgeous
by Anonymous | reply 24 | September 16, 2024 12:27 AM |
[quote]We've had numerous threads on him.
I never saw any of them. I is the very first time I am hearing about him since his father died.
Thanks for posting this OP
by Anonymous | reply 25 | September 16, 2024 12:28 AM |
R25 because we haven’t had numerous threads on him. That poster always does that. And if you search you don’t find many threads at all.

[quote] Is anyone shocked the son of Chris Reeve is attractive?
His mother was quite a looker, too. Life gave him lemons but looks-wise he just had to be handsome with both parents being hot. I'm happy to read that he had great support growing up and turned out very well.
by Anonymous | reply 27 | September 16, 2024 12:35 AM |
I lost my parents, my father age 18 and my mother age 16, so I have a lot of admiration for this guy and how sane and productive he is. He turned out really well, despite having something so enormous going against him. I wish him all the best for the future.
by Anonymous | reply 28 | September 16, 2024 12:43 AM |
R21 I remember a coworker in a zoom meeting getting up during the video conference when a oven timer ringer went off. He forgot he wasn't wearing pants, he was just in his undies below the waist. We all burst out laughing. It was a running joke for a while. The first time he was back in the office I told him I was grateful than he decided to wear pants again.
by Anonymous | reply 29 | September 16, 2024 1:46 AM |
If he so much as looks at a horse, I’m going to find him and smack him viciously.

Yes that’s how it usually works when your parents both die by the time you’re 13 🧠
by Anonymous | reply 31 | September 16, 2024 2:54 AM |
Strikingly handsome. Head turner.
by Anonymous | reply 32 | September 16, 2024 3:10 AM |
[quote] I’m shocked DL doesn’t know about him.
That's how you know he was well taken care of. They kept him away from the vultures and gave him the best upbringing a kid in his circumstances could've had.
by Anonymous | reply 33 | September 16, 2024 3:31 AM |
He’s hot. I would totally give him a hug or maybe nipple play.
by Anonymous | reply 34 | September 16, 2024 3:37 AM |
r24 Reeves was not gorgeous. He was handsome at best but looked like one of those people with typical 80s nose jobs. I can tell from his hot son that it was natural but man was he way overrated by you gays on here.
Barely had lips, an overdone nose, and looked prematurely old (eye wrinkles). But, he was a decent man and his son turned out alright which is much much more important than his over inflated looks by DL.
by Anonymous | reply 35 | September 16, 2024 3:56 AM |
R35 you continuously saying it doesn’t make it true. Welcome to reality.
by Anonymous | reply 36 | September 16, 2024 3:59 AM |
But it is true. He was not gorgeous. Show me a gorgeous picture of Reeves.
by Anonymous | reply 37 | September 16, 2024 4:02 AM |
Idiot who didn’t even understand The Bear joke earlier tonight, beauty is subjective. I found him gorgeous. You didn’t. That’s fine. But stop forcing your opinion on others. Shove it up your ass.
by Anonymous | reply 38 | September 16, 2024 4:05 AM |
Not everyone sits around watching Hulu or FX shows. The Bear isn't a big enough show to be quoting like that. Get over yourself and stop trying to fuck Chris' corps, he wasn't into alive and what's left still doesn't want your soggy ass.

First time in my life to hear that someone didn’t find Christopher Reeve gorgeous.
by Anonymous | reply 41 | September 16, 2024 4:37 AM |
imo, the son is better-looking than chris reeve. The nose, esp.
by Anonymous | reply 42 | September 16, 2024 4:38 AM |
R41 it’s the idiot born in 2005 who pretends to be numerous people.
Reeve was incredibly handsome.
by Anonymous | reply 43 | September 16, 2024 4:39 AM |
Wonder who his father was?
by Anonymous | reply 44 | September 16, 2024 4:39 AM |
Will is kind of dorky and awkward, and is a rare person who looks better in still photos rather than in motion.
OP vs R21

He and his half-siblings, Matthew and Alexandra will be on The View this Thursday, the 19th. They're promoting a doc about their dad “Super/Man: A Christopher Reeve Story."

Christopher Reeves
Sally Fields
by Anonymous | reply 49 | September 16, 2024 5:49 AM |
R35 nonsense. There's a reason he was cast as fucking SUPERMAN.
Superman was/is literally meant to be the modern-day embodiment of the Western masculine ideal. The aristocratic/refined facial features + strapping, 6'4," mesomorph body—think back to Classical (ancient Greco-Roman) sculpture—is a combo that was, and is, extremely rare in real-life human males.
...with all that said, attraction-wise, Reeves' physical appearance also didn't "do anything" for me per se (I'm also not a huge fan of the lipless, toothy look). I still recognize objective physical beauty when I see it, though.
IMO, pics like this one where his mouth is relaxed are much more flattering than the pics at R40 and R41
by Anonymous | reply 50 | September 16, 2024 6:04 AM |
R33 😆 😆
by Anonymous | reply 51 | September 16, 2024 6:23 AM |
Gurl, that lipless wonder in r40s photo was not gorgeous. Handsome, yes, but gorgeous? Maybe if you are into a super wasp aesthetic. I think even Tom Welling was closer, not there, to gorgeous status.
Jensen Ackles was gorgeous. Jude Law was gorgeous. Paul fucking Walker, was gorgeous. Christopher Reeves was simply.
by Anonymous | reply 52 | September 16, 2024 6:26 AM |
r50 he was casted for the same reason anyone else is casted for Super Man. Doesn't make you some ideal, just means are you handsome enough to be marketable. The studio made him into Super Man. Most people weren't dreaming of any of the SM actors in their roles until they got 'em and the studios built them up. SM casting only ever meant, brown hair, tall, maybe blue eyes, not fat, and handsome. That's about as wide of a casting requirement as any other movie with a white lead in the 70s or 80s.
Stop pretending he was seen as the ideal men in the 70s, 80s, or today.

I've been here long enough to understand that these are very demure, very mindful Datalounge affirmations of empathy, compassion and humanity -- it's like a normal person saying "We see you, you matter and you are not alone."

by Anonymous | reply 57 | September 16, 2024 9:12 AM |
Christopher Reeve was very handsome, but he did seem to lack any "hotness" if that makes sense. You see a photo or video of him, and yes, he's got great features, a classic handsome guy. Would you call him sexy or hot? I would not.
by Anonymous | reply 58 | September 16, 2024 11:27 AM |
in Superman Christopher Reeve was very hot. As Clark Kent too.
His son is very hot.
by Anonymous | reply 59 | September 16, 2024 11:51 AM |
I feel bad for him losing his parents, but I am so sick of nepotism. There have always been celeb kids becoming celebs themselves, but usually they had to work hard and prove themselves. And a whole lot of them did not become celebrities, or even aspire to be. Now, it’s like every celebrity think there child gets to also be a star as their birthright. I find it extremely odd-putting.
by Anonymous | reply 60 | September 16, 2024 11:57 AM |
Some DLers are so fixated on "WASP" qualities and "old money."
by Anonymous | reply 61 | September 16, 2024 3:40 PM |
Does anyone who raised him when his parents died? Did he live with his siblings?
by Anonymous | reply 62 | September 16, 2024 3:51 PM |

That will certainly have made up for losing both parents by age 13!

[quote]Does anyone who raised him when his parents died? Did he live with his siblings?
His mother arranged for him to live with their next door neighbors after she died so that he could finish school with his friends. I believe the neighbors ended up adopting him.

Is Will ABC's Luke Russert?

I saw it. Christopher Reeve was not amused when Richard Thomas got better reviews after taking over Chris's role.
by Anonymous | reply 76 | September 30, 2024 12:16 AM |
Ow, this one must have been a kick in the nuts for him.
Weird that Reeve played a paraplegic before his injury.....
by Anonymous | reply 77 | September 30, 2024 12:21 AM |
I hope he's not too much like his dad.
by Anonymous | reply 78 | September 30, 2024 12:30 AM |
There were rumors that Reeve and Swoosie Kurtz weren't getting along during 5th of July which isn't surprising since Kurtz walked off with the show, the reviews and a Tony.

Pity.

You mean when his mother was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer at age 44? Yeah, she was such a drama queen. She was a brave woman and a class act, you asshole.
