Trump Rallys - Sad Last Days!

He doesn’t want to do big rallies anymore because he can’t fill them.

Reminds me of the last PTA meeting.

Lara Trump could've filled a bigger auditorium with her caterwauling.

by Anonymousreply 2September 14, 2024 1:38 AM

Or book the venues he’d previously stiffed.

by Anonymousreply 3September 14, 2024 1:48 AM

Someone should give him an afternoon lounge act in Vegas so he will quit bothering the rest of us. It's the perfect place for faded has-beens.

It's funny how on both sides you have people who will try to be one of the first people at a rally for the candidate of the other party so they can get video of the venue with only the first few people there. The tweet has a time of 8:01 pm, but the rally has a start time of 10pm Eastern. At this moment, Trump hasn't started speaking yet. An article in a Nevada newspaper reports that the venue can hold 13,500 people, so the guy wasn't telling the truth about that. With the curtaining, it reduces the amount of seats available, but it is expected that 6000 people will be in attendance.

He wants full rallies, so ballroom at the Ramada it is.

by Anonymousreply 6September 14, 2024 2:30 AM

R4 I’m offended by that remark.

by Anonymousreply 7September 14, 2024 2:45 AM

Sad!

by Anonymousreply 8September 14, 2024 2:47 AM

He probably can't get get the venues he wants because he stiffs them for payment. All of the campaign money must go to his defense fund, you know.

by Anonymousreply 9September 14, 2024 3:10 AM

I’m willing to laugh at a Trump rally with empty seats while he’s speaking… but anybody can record footage of a half empty venue a while before the rally starts. Looks like that’s what this guy did.

by Anonymousreply 10September 14, 2024 3:18 AM

Doesn't he have a hotel/casino this could have been in?

by Anonymousreply 11September 14, 2024 3:56 AM

It was held at the World Market Casino. 3-5,000 is probably accurate. No way does it hold 13,500 for this type of an event.

by Anonymousreply 12September 14, 2024 4:01 AM

World Market Center, not Casino. Wynn and Adelson are fans.

by Anonymousreply 13September 14, 2024 4:03 AM

I’ve been to Tupperware parties with bigger turnout.

by Anonymousreply 14September 14, 2024 4:09 AM

Can you imagine how hard Trump would bomb if he actually did an open mic night? I’m not sure why he approaches politics like he’s a comedian.

by Anonymousreply 15September 14, 2024 4:11 AM

Were there refreshments?

by Anonymousreply 16September 14, 2024 4:28 AM

It's an interesting paradox that he's still polling well enough, yet cannot fill a venue for a rally.

by Anonymousreply 17September 14, 2024 4:34 AM

Makes you wonder, doesn’t it, r17?

by Anonymousreply 18September 14, 2024 4:35 AM

Donald Trump's presidential tour bus rolled into the parking lot of an America's Best Value Inn in a rundown Michigan town, its gleaming exterior a sharp contrast to the faded motel sign and cracked pavement. The locals, bundled up against the cold, stared in disbelief as the door of the bus hissed open, revealing Secret Service agents spilling out into the lot. The low hum of the engine filled the air as Trump himself stepped down, his iconic red tie fluttering in the wind. He glanced around at the empty streets and boarded-up shops, pausing for a moment before heading inside the dingy lobby, where the flickering neon "Vacancy" sign buzzed overhead.
