The hairstyles were SO aging. I'm imagining Bert with a longer, natural style; it would have taken at least a decade off.

Grape-nuts cereal. No grapes, no nuts. My brother called them Gravel nuts.

The commercials back then were narrated by some of the most soothing deep and mellow voices. I find it relaxing.

R4- Commercials were SO mellow back then. They did not ASSAULT you the way they do now.
Here is a perfect example from 1977- What a pleasant tune and commercial.

Commercials today feature lots of unattractive people and prescription drugs. And an abundance of African Americans.

R7- That's because it has to meet rigorous standards of DEI.

What fun! In the early days of the internet I bought a video tape of the last week of shows of THE EDGE OF NIGHT.
It was so much fun to watch.....Joel Crothers from Dark Shadows was on it by then.....and old lady Lois Kibbee.
Wish I still had that tape.....or someone would put EON on YouTube. *-(

It felt like there were a lot of commercial breaks for a 30-minute show.

Those cameras don't pay for themselves.
