I hate it when they make the main star seem unreliable and announce it in the trailer. I don't want to invest time in a show that won't end up surprising me at all.

I'm a big Nicholas Chavez fan, but nothing about this show makes me want to watch it. Not even Chavez playing the priest.

This hits every horror cliche in the book. A must to avoid, a time-waster where the goal of each episode is simply to get you to watch next week. At the end of it you will be no more enlightened, delighted or entertained than you would be if you just skipped it.

Ryan Murphy's participation makes it a hard pass for me, tbh. Something about his work and his tawdry, "provocative", tabloidy exploitation of gay narrative is never as good as he thinks it is.

r26 His stuff always starts out good but he can never tie off an ending. It's like he writes "this will be cool oh and this too" and then realizes he has one episode to tie up 30 storylines. The last Horror Story was such a shit show in the last episode.

Recently rewatched the very first season of AHS and all the Murphy red flags were there already. He's someone who back then would have really benefited from the current trend of six or eight episodes per season because he loses focus when he has to work with more than that.
