It's unbelievable that this social maladaptive freak would have been allowed to become a minor star thanks to Netflix and social media.
Rewarding sociopathy: convicted fraudster Anna Delvey is set to join Dancing with the Stars

She looks like she got some good pussy.
by Anonymous | reply 1 | September 4, 2024 11:50 AM |
What the fuck are they thinking?
by Anonymous | reply 2 | September 4, 2024 11:54 AM |
She seems presidential. Too bad she is foreign born. Or is she....

In Australia, an award-winning premiership footballer who had an eons-long meth addiction and a stay or two in prison is on the current season of DWTS.
I haven't seen it, but most people aren't fussed about a convicted wife-beater taking part. He also has a gig as a sports reporter.
These shows really scrape the bottom of the barrel.
by Anonymous | reply 4 | September 4, 2024 12:59 PM |
Piano legs.

Is Andy Cohen now one of the producers?
by Anonymous | reply 6 | September 4, 2024 1:21 PM |
They really are redefining/contorting the meaning of "celebrity," aren't they?
by Anonymous | reply 7 | September 4, 2024 1:22 PM |
We’re testing the audience response before we debut our new show: Dancing With Convicted Family Annihilators
by Anonymous | reply 9 | September 4, 2024 1:31 PM |
When are we getting Susan Smith? Chris Watts? You just know Aileen Wournos would have snapped at the judges.
by Anonymous | reply 10 | September 4, 2024 1:36 PM |
That is embarrassing, R8. Politicians are not celebrities and having them on DWTS compromises the dignity of public office, because it sends the message that narcissists can satisfy their need for notoriety and attention (not to mention, mysteriously acquired wealth) by becoming elected officials and then, making the jump into show business. It's just not right.
R9 / R10, please don't give the producers any ideas. You know that they'd LOVE to do something like this for the publicity and ratings alone.

Ezra Sosa has been promoted to pro dancer this season and according to Variety, he unfortunately has been paired with Delvey.

I’ve ruined the entire world - eat my death 💀 crumbs for the rest of your lives!
by Anonymous | reply 13 | September 4, 2024 2:00 PM |
Yes r12, he has! Ugh! His first big break and to be paired with her - they’ll be out the first week. He is such a cutie and I need to be there to console him lol
by Anonymous | reply 14 | September 4, 2024 2:06 PM |
If it's any consolation, I have no clue who she is.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | September 4, 2024 2:58 PM |
Did she ever pay back all the people she scammed? I wonder if her salary from this can be attached to the judgments against her?
by Anonymous | reply 17 | September 4, 2024 3:12 PM |
Who the fuck are these people? Might be the worst cast ever.
by Anonymous | reply 18 | September 4, 2024 4:15 PM |
If only Bernie Madoff was still alive!!!
by Anonymous | reply 19 | September 4, 2024 4:44 PM |
this is fucked up. something is very wrong with the world and our society
by Anonymous | reply 20 | September 4, 2024 6:20 PM |
George Santos would be perfect. He hasn't been sentenced yet!
by Anonymous | reply 21 | September 4, 2024 6:30 PM |
Aren't there laws that prevent convicted criminals from profiting off their crimes? Appearing on DWTS may not be part of her crime, but her widespread public notoriety from the egregiousness of her crimes is the only reason she was cast.
I'm with R17. If she's going to be on the show and accordingly we're to suffer yet another hit to our cultural and moral decorum, then her earnings should be entirely garnished and put toward restitution of her victims.
by Anonymous | reply 22 | September 4, 2024 7:05 PM |
Hey, they could of had Jeffrey Dahmer, the problem of course is that his partner would show up missing their arms and legs.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | September 4, 2024 7:08 PM |
R9 😂

From the Vanity Fair article at OP:
[quote] According to CNN, she's now seeking asylum in the US, as “There is evidence that demonstrates she would be deported from Germany to Russia and be persecuted,” attorney John Sandweg says.
Clearly she's just another of Russia's many bad seeds wrought by decades of corrupt communist rule and widespread poverty. Send her damaged goods ass back to Putin. If he doesn't persecute her as allegedly feared, he can conscript her into his losing war in Ukraine. We don't need the likes of her among the rest of us in the civilized world.
by Anonymous | reply 25 | September 4, 2024 7:16 PM |
Here she is with Kelly at a market. Can someone please tell me why Kelly has a career? I don’t think she’s talented but her brusque persona makes people think she is. She looks like a Pet Rock.

This is beyond the pale, in all seriousness. She ruined lives.

R11? Spicer is a reject from the Trump administration.
Magats don't do dignity, respect or American democracy!
by Anonymous | reply 30 | September 4, 2024 10:56 PM |
This sucks - she should not be given an audience.
by Anonymous | reply 31 | September 5, 2024 12:02 AM |
I wonder what would happen if there was a writing campaign to stop her from performing? Fuck this.
by Anonymous | reply 32 | September 5, 2024 12:13 AM |
She has to wear an ankle monitor.

by Anonymous | reply 44 | September 5, 2024 5:33 PM |
Can't believe ABC thinks this POS loser is any kind of audience draw. I can't decide who'll get tossed first, this gross crook or gross Tori Spelling.
by Anonymous | reply 45 | September 5, 2024 5:41 PM |
To be fair, it's never really been DWtS, more like Dancing With the D-List Has Beens.
by Anonymous | reply 46 | September 5, 2024 7:08 PM |
R46 That’s actually not true. My nappy headed stepmom used to always watch this shit. Them early seasons often the winner was a very popular NFL star.
by Anonymous | reply 47 | September 5, 2024 7:26 PM |
I am see Tori befriending her and becoming bffs.
Watching Tori alternately do her giggly self deprecating schtick or try-hard, serious glam persona would be entertaining.

“ In a bizarre twist of reality TV, notorious serial killer Aileen Wuornos is resurrected to compete on *Dancing with the Stars*. The audience watches in stunned silence as she steps onto the glittering stage, paired with a charismatic professional dancer who seems more nervous than usual. The judges, clearly unsettled, struggle to maintain their composure as Wuornos moves stiffly through a tango routine, her piercing gaze fixed on the camera. The surreal juxtaposition of her dark past with the glitzy, carefree atmosphere leaves viewers grappling with an eerie sense of discomfort, as the show tries to play it off as just another night of entertainment.”

by Anonymous | reply 52 | September 5, 2024 10:51 PM |
New York Mag had an article on her with pics some years back. She appears much pudgier now, so a little hoofing won't hurt her.
by Anonymous | reply 53 | September 5, 2024 11:24 PM |
Look at video at r26–she is not pudgy. The assistants behind Anna are pudgy.
by Anonymous | reply 54 | September 6, 2024 12:09 AM |
once again, how the fuck does she support herself?
by Anonymous | reply 55 | September 6, 2024 12:44 AM |
She also walked in a fashion show in NYC.
by Anonymous | reply 56 | September 14, 2024 6:41 AM |
And I thought having Tyra host for several years was bad. They missed out on a huge opportunity by not adding Gypsy Rose Blanchard to the cast. Imagine her and Anna getting into a catfight after competing for Derek's attention.
by Anonymous | reply 57 | September 14, 2024 11:10 AM |
If only Manson and Ted Bundy could have lived longer they could have been on dancing with the stars!!!
by Anonymous | reply 58 | September 14, 2024 12:50 PM |
She's just not interesting. The netflix movie was boring, no, unwatchable.
by Anonymous | reply 59 | September 14, 2024 2:19 PM |
Next season: Leslie Van Houten!
by Anonymous | reply 60 | September 14, 2024 2:41 PM |
I’m surprised that Anna would do it. I’m sure she needs the money, but being associated with frau-bait like DWTS seems antithetical to the lifestyle and image that Anna created for herself.

Dancing with the Faux Hohenzollern Aristocrats? Can't they book a real one? I'd love to see Princess TNT!

She's mostly entertaining in her own mind.

R58 I would definitely watch that and I absolutely loathe Dancing with The Hasbeens.
by Anonymous | reply 67 | September 15, 2024 4:58 AM |
She did her time.
Frankly, I kind of love her. I started rooting for her after I saw how unlikeable her main victim is (the girl who worked for Condé Nast who used to travel with Anna).
I think it’s hilarious that that girl has to watch Anna turn it all around and become a minor celebrity to boot. THAT’S how unlikeable the one girl is.
You just know she is steamed too.

R69 Not that many. Most of those people were obscenely wealthy. At best she wound up humiliating them and chipping several egos.
I'm still not saying it's okay. Because it's not. What she did was definitely wrong. But she was by far no Bernie Madoff. His victims were numerous and from all walks of life.
