Ellen's new jpb: She's doing an infomercial for skin care !
Jane Seymour - pack up your Crepe Erase and get the fuck off my TV ! There's a new sheriff in town...
Ellen DeGeneres and her wife Portia have found a new side hustle to make money now that her comedy tour has been canceled - hawking "Kind Science" skin care line on television commercials. Poor woman looks so disinterested sitting on her sofa next to Portia, making Portia do all the heavy lifting as she tries to remember her lines. They're even promising skin care packages - you know; hundreds of dollars in products for a fraction of the cost IF YOU ACT NOW.
So call 1- 800 - 56 - Ellen and get your beauty package.
Jane, it was nice knowing you - your time is up. Off to "Balance of Nature" you go...and duke it out with Kathie Lee.

You can get just as effective results with “The ordinary” for a fraction of those prices—although I read somewhere their retinol products become destabilized pretty quick and lose effectiveness very quickly.

Desperate times call for desperate measures for Ellen DeGeneres.

I'd rather have had a new celebrity fragrance than this. smELLEN, the perfume for lesbians, would have sold itself.

With Ellen, it's actually a skin "I don't" care routine.

She and Portia looked more like mother and daughter, rather than wife and wife.

ha, i've been snickering at her puff piece magazine article - i don't know if it's people or what. some rag in the grocery store line has her with crybaby eyes and a headline about her REAL struggles that were behind her bad behavior.

Who aspires to look like Ellen?

I guess she will never address why she canceled her comedy tour this past spring.

Boy, people will hawk anything to try and stay relevant.

Because nothing screams youthful skin like Ellen Degenerate.

Yikes I thought OP was kidding, but the advertising media around these products is super cheesy and awkward. The banter between Ellen and Portia is so stilted and sad. Ellen tries to nurse a joke about the word “sag”, but it’s all so awkward and forced. This broad must be so loaded from years and years of that crappy but successful daytime show. Why grub a few more bucks pushing pots and tubes of serums and creams? Ellen sounds pretty checked out, end the clip by announcing she’s going to have a sandwich.

I just saw an ad for this and had to double check my calendar to confirm today isn't April Fools' day. Just more proof that fame and obscene wealth has transformed Ellen from a funny and once-beloved comedian to a stubborn old cunt. She's using the word KIND in the brand for this line? Has this fucking bitch learned nothing??
Also: As already noted, Ellen is the last person from whom I'm taking skin care advice, unless I change course and decide to go for an alcoholic gin blossom look.
I'm with R1. I use several products from The Ordinary in my routine and swear by them (though not their retinol, I use Neutrogena Night Repair). The hyaluronic acid serum, multi-peptide and caffeine eye serums, glycolic acid toner, and their squalane lip balm are all great. They're all affordable and available online or at your local Ulta. Ellen has enough cash, but her affinity with kindness these days and certainly "science" should be questioned heavily before you send her any of your money.

You too can look like a dried up old drunk dyke! With Kind Science!

Ellen was a model/celebrity endorser for CoverGirl cosmetics when she was in her 50s. I always thought that was a weird move on both the company’s part and hers.

How much Vaseline did they put on the camera lens to hide Ellen's deplorable skin?
Portia doesn't look much better.

I could not tell which one hated being there the most. Why would anyone post that? I kept checking to see if it was an out-take….nope…they really posted that on the advertisement. Smh

"Who aspires to look like Ellen?"
She made a ton of money for CoverGirl, so...

She also had plastic surgery on her face. Eyelids and mid-face facelift. Her skin always looks red and raw.

Like R1 and R15 have said, brands like the ordinary do the trick just as good. Occasionally I’ll splurge and buy nicer products from skinceuticals.

R11 She didn't cancel her tour. Only five dates on the tour were cancelled, and three of those dates were for cities (San Francisco, Seattle, and Chicago) where they'd previously added second and third nights, then went back to the original plan. I think there were only two cities (Dallas and San Antonio) where they cancelled the one night where she didn't appear at all. But I believe I also read that they then added a third night to her shows at the Orpheum in Minneapolis, which was her final stop on the tour with those shows being the ones taped for the Netflix special.
