Knives Out 3 (Wake Up Dead Man) has a $210 million budget

Another Argylle situation?

Yeah, I’m not going to “enter the Sneider-Verse to read more…”

I love Daniel Craig so I will watch it. Would also gladly love a spinoff with Grant and Craig catching murderers while originally only wanting to have a good time.

Stinky linky OP

Is his horrible accent intentional?

I actually subscribe to this

It’s just a one sentence throw-away line

“Additionally, Brolin will be seen in Rian Johnson’s Knives Out sequel Wake Up Dead Man, which I’m told came in at $210 million — an eye-popping figure for a whodunit.”

Rian Johnson destroyed the Star Wars franchise and just keeps working, it’s amazing.

And it's almost certainly bullshit. "The Glass Onion" was shot almost entirely on a Greek isle, in the middle of the pandemic, and only cost $40M. And Netflix has been cutting back, not boosting budgets, so the idea that the third "Knives Out" movie would cost more than FIVE TIMES its predecessor is a major stretch, especially coming via unconfirmed gossip.

Rian Johnson is fucking BRILLIANT, and it was J.J. Abrams who ruined "Star Wars," but I'd just assume not rehash that old chestnut. OTOH look at the other movies they've made. Rian: "Knives Out" and "Brick," one of the most underrated classics of the 21st century. J.J.: "Star Trek" and "Mission: Impossible." (The lowest-grossing one in the franchise.)

I loved Laura Dern as the purple haired scold in the prom dress. That was definitely a highlight of his Star Wars movie. Second only to Princess Leia as Mary Poppins. Or Luke Skywalker milking an alien?

I like Daniel Craig, but with that price tag it will bomb.
