Legit question about Jon-Erik Hexum and the ‘Rust’ set shooting tragedy.
I know I’m not the only DL eldergay, who remembers exactly where he was when he heard of the tragedy that befell John Erik Hexum. Because of that, I heard at the time that they passed a law in JEH’s name that forbid live ammo on film and TV sets.
Cut to now, cut to the ‘Rust’ set. There are loaded guns, unfortunately, And there’s even a Gun Wrangler to watch over all of it. Seriously, what’s the point? Do some actors require such things because they need a sense of realism?

For crissakes OP you TOTALLY MISSED the memo. There NEVER SHOULD HAVE BEEN live guns on that Rust Set. It was gross negligence.
