Understanding the Wordle bot

More people went with LASER as their second move than an other word, but the bot says REGAL is the more “efficient” guess. S is a more common letter than G, so why is REGAL more efficient. The bot’s next choices were RENAL, LEGAL and DECAL

I got lucky on Try 2 with SCALE (4 yellow tiles) after striking out with ROUND. I try a new starting word every day justvto add a challenge.

I’m trying to learn the logic of the bot. Unfortunately, it does not explain its reasoning . I suppose it has every possible word in mind when it says REGAL is more efficient than LASER, but that doesn’t help a feeble mind.

Aisle is always my first guess

Oh, and I got the word on the third guess, but the bot gave me a low score because it said I made a lucky guess.

The Wordle Bot is a smug bitch, it's best to ignore her.

I hate that the New York Times owns it now. Been engaging with it less and less.

IRATE has always been my first guess and these days it’s very appropriate. If nothing comes up from that I go with COUGH which covers all the vowels.

As for the word itself, I just think about what words Americans like considering it’s an American game. Sometimes I get fucked up because I just don’t get American spelling of words so miss the obvious.

It's some AI thing, not meant to make sense. It's second guesses always conveniently contain one or two needed letters. ALWAYS.

Jeez. I thought I'd get at least one "kudos."

Kudos is a horrible start word.
