Understanding the Wordle bot

More people went with LASER as their second move than an other word, but the bot says REGAL is the more “efficient” guess. S is a more common letter than G, so why is REGAL more efficient. The bot’s next choices were RENAL, LEGAL and DECAL

I got lucky on Try 2 with SCALE (4 yellow tiles) after striking out with ROUND. I try a new starting word every day justvto add a challenge.

I’m trying to learn the logic of the bot. Unfortunately, it does not explain its reasoning . I suppose it has every possible word in mind when it says REGAL is more efficient than LASER, but that doesn’t help a feeble mind.

Aisle is always my first guess

Oh, and I got the word on the third guess, but the bot gave me a low score because it said I made a lucky guess.
