Will she be presenting at the next BET Awards?
The Black Community Is Going Gaga Over Glenn Close

Lee Daniels said he based her character on every white woman who is well-known in the black community. You're telling me that there are 77 year old white women still chasing black dick?

I’m sure that there are.

lol He nailed it. I been saying since 2011 G is the actress of all time. Who but G can embody so many different type of roles. I know many great actors do not make great acting coaches but I wish she would coach Queen Bey one on one so that she can win Oscar.

R1 There are actually. In any predominantly working class black neighborhood there is always that one white chick or fella who grew up there when the neighborhood was still mostly provincially Italian-American or Irish. Somehow her family stayed and she gets immersed in black culture. Loves her Anita Banker, and Luther Vandross, her long nails, and mostly importantly loves her some black men lol. Yall gotta remember even the youngest boomers are getting up there in age. And they not always saddled with dysfunction as is the case with this film

Okay, that was pretty funny. "I'm not your baby, Glennicia."
Glenn is actually perfect for a Lee Daniels movie. He loves to let his actresses go for broke, and they both have a healthy respect for the trashy.

How charming that Glenn’s high brows have connected with the low brow of audiences. She finally has found her place in cinema, that of a white woman who wishes she were ghetto trash.
Art intimidating life I suppose.

But could Meryl pull off this role, playing a snow bunny chasing after black dick, saying the line, "I can smell your nappy pussy" with such conviction?

R7 No dear, I couldn’t. Unlike Glenn, thanks to wise financial investments and proper management, I’ll never have to…….

R8. We’d all like to forget the third, undeserved one.

I'm risking being mocked, but what movie has "The Black Community...Going Gaga Over Glenn Close"?
by Anonymous | reply 10 | September 2, 2024 12:45 PM |
The Deliverance on Netflix

OP what a find. That guy nails EVERYTHING.

Oh look. Another Glenn Close thread.

#1 movie on Netflix. Glenn is it!

I was all excited for her until I found out she's doing a Ryan Murphy production with Kim Kardashian.🙄
Clearly this bitch can be bought, and Kim is successfully buying herself access to acting gigs now.

We're "going gaga" over her? Nah. We just like her as much as we always did. I mean, the lady has been around for 50 years. What, we were late to the party? Nah. It's just that some of us are just younger and just now discovering her. But some of us are as old as her. Like me. My people can be pretty oblivious sometimes.🤭

Vince Lombardi couldn’t coach something that hopeless.

R8 Meryl, are you forgetting Prime? That's a stupid movie. How about Hope Springs, where you wanted Tommy Lee Jones to lick your nappy pussy?

"I been saying"
You be trippin, teafake. I be like, wut, lol, shit, mang.

R19 Ironically The Queen played Vince Lombardi’s speech at the start of her Super Bowl halftime show. Her potential is limitless and creative juices infinite.

Glenn is the new Jesse Jackson.
