R4 My deepest apologies. I guess it's an evergreen topic.

I have never been able to last more than 10 minutes into Lawrence of Arabia, 2001: A Space Odyssey, The Deerhunter or It's A Wonderful Life. I ALWAYS fall asleep, so I've never really watched either film.

I have never watched Casablanca and after reading the synopsis, I have no interest in ever doing so. The same applies to Butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kid, James Bond films (I've only ever watched Never Say Never Again), Jaws, Easy Rider and A Clockwork Orange.

The films I've never watched but I'd love to see are Chinatown, Deliverance and Gangs of New York.

R7 It's A Wonderful Life is the classic everyone seems to know and yet I've never seen.

I've caught a few seconds here and there but never sat through it all. I guess my family was never sitting in front of the TV on Christmas Eve.

I've never seen It's A Wonderful Life on Christmas Eve, but I did see it when it used to be on TV at any time of the year.

I have not seen a lot of the more recent Oscar-nominated films. From, say, the past 10 years. I stopped going to the movies after seeing about 5 shitty movies in a row. And somehow I'm not compelled to stream these movies or get the dvds/blu rays out of the library. Not that I'm not open to seeing them but the motivation isn't there. And so many of them are 2.5 to 3 hours long.

Never saw Atonement, btw.

I never saw Sophie's Choice, The Deer Hunter, Easy Rider, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (didn't like Raiders of the Lost Ark), La Dolce Vita, Avatar, The Matrix, The French Lieutenant's Woman, The Imitation Game, Fatal Attraction, Goodfellas, El Cid, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, Mrs. Doubtfire, Lincoln, Forrest Gump.

Also never saw The Little Mermaid, Frozen, Toy Story(s), Moana, Zootopia, Encanto.

I haven’t seen Titanic either and have no desire to. Ditto the Godfather movies. Or any of that Marvel crap.

I love old, like from the 30’s/40’s, movies but I didn’t think I’d like Casablanca since I’m not a Bogart fan but much to my surprise I did.

Anything in the Fast & Furious franchise after the first half hour of the first movie.

R11 skip all except Goodfellas, La Dolce Vita and for laughs watch Mrs. Doubtfire.

We always made fun of the sappy It’s A Wonderful Life when I was a kid, but I love it now.

I was at an estate sale last weekend and they had about 200 dvds for sale at $2.00 each. I was excited til I realized it was all breeder shit with Tom Hanks, Kevin Costner, Julia Roberts, Sandra Bullock.

Apocalypse Now. At the time it was released, the theme didn't interest me. Now, at 2.5 hours, it's probably too long, but I'll give it a shot one of these days.
