I'm betting this is from a photo shoot for her upcoming memoir. The photo looks like an 'author' pose, and will probably be featured on the front cover or the back cover of the book. It needs some airbrushing, but she looks fine for an almost 80 year old. (I have a feeling the book has been written and now in its editing stage for a possible release in December or early 2025).

Sad? Liza was said to be in a severe health crisis and possibly dying like 20 years ago. And now she’s outlived her momma by more than three decades.

She has been in the business for just about as long as Liza, has said for decades she lives a healthy lifestyle which includes no alcohol, a vegan diet, no sugar in her diet, no processed foods. At 81, she runs every day, has participated in many 'marathons' over the decades, practices yoga on a daily basis. She has said in plenty of interviews she doesn't 'do the Hollywood scenes', and has always lived a low-key life with her daughter and husband (whom she has been married to for 60 years). Like Liza, she has been under the knife a number of times (I'm guessing to make sure her physical appearance matches her youthful life).

Her health went downhill real quick after Sex and the City 2 - she was still dancing like crazy to Single Ladies in that film, but a year later she broke her leg in three places and never fully regained her mobility.

She looks ok. I wonder about my siblings and friends who really drink. Lifestyle is a big factor in the quality of life past 70. I think about that a lot as I age. I’ve posted on this idea maybe too often, yet people are living longer lives on medications like statins, metformin, etc. but the quality of these longer lives can be so poor if your body is beat to shit.

Her profile is pretty unique because she really did push herself onstage and in film (and succeeded). The long term complexity of hip replacements and related procedures looks really hard to manage even when you’re rich and famous. No one I know will have the kind of resources she has to age comfortably, with devoted pals around. She’s pretty fortunate. She probably made money selling her NY home and maybe some Warhol(s).

Deborah Harry looks to be in better shape, but I think she swam and limited her smoking to one cigarette per day for spans of time.

As much of a mess as Liza tends to be portrayed as, she's had her shit together more than other divas.
