The special counsel went back into the original indictment and removed any of the actions as evidence that could be construed as an official act, and still found plenty leftover to indict on, R1. So he has resubmitted a revised indictment, so to speak.

Yeah, EL @ R32 -- I watched my elderly aunt for a week in rural PA, and then I drove to the Jersey shore to hang out with my bff who has a condo there. We went into the city on the SeaStreak (I love that ride!) and spent Friday in Manhattan. Saturday I hung out with some of her buddies, and Sunday, I got on the road and drove down the BW Parkway (what a nightmare!) and headed to NC, where I stopped for the night. By then I already had a sore throat, and it was all downhill from there. Oh well. Now I can say I had covid, for what it's worth.

Once the appellate in the 11th circuit rules, the Florida documents case will be back ON, hopefully with the removal of dipshit, embarrassment to the judiciary, Aileen Cannon (we hardly knew you & we still never liked you). This will be the THIRD time the 11th circuit has has to reverse her decisions - three strikes, you’re out!

Judge Marchan is going to sentence Trump to a jail term which he can probably start serving on the 6th of November. I would expect the Harris DOJ to give not one shit about a former President actually serving a prison sentence behind bars. Maybe before long, Trump will Epstein himself.

Georgia is chugging along, AZ is under way, MI may still bring charges - and he still has to settle up on his civil suits with Letitia James and E. Jean Carroll in NY. Not much for Trump to look forward to.

And the best part is, when Trump loses on the 5th of November, for the FOURTH election in a row if you include the midterms of 2018 & 2022, the GOP will be done with him. The GOP will also be an incinerated husk of a former party of absolutely no use to anyone (George Conway says the brand is beyond repair, #ETTD). But after he loses, no one - the GOP, MAGA, Putin, Thiel et al - none of them will have any use for him at all. No one will bail him out, SCOTUS will stop taking his appeals much less invent new legal theories that only apply to him, etc. Even his MAGA donors will be through with him.
