She's pissing off more fans now for cancelling 2 European shows just a couple days in advance. She posted on IG that it was due to "scheduling conflicts," without specifying that it was because she was invited to the VMAs. A lot of people would have had nonrefundable bookings for transport and hotels.

I'm sure parasocial fan behavior is annoying and overwhelming at times, but prioritizing the VMAs over scheduled performances for the ones who made her successful doesn't really jibe with her "I hate being famous" act.
