It's crazy how that story dominated the news cycle for most of the spring and summer of 2001, and then 9/11 happened and it was completely forgotten.

Chandra was clearly fucking her way to the top. There's no way Condit was the first married man. What's really weird is she was giving her parents play-by-play details of the affair. Her father was the one who first informed law enforcement of the affair. Why didn't he tell his daughter to stop fucking a married man? I'm not necessarily saying it contributed to her death if indeed the immigrant committed the crime, but morally I couldn't encourage my daughter to continue fucking a married congressmen. I'm sorry for their loss but what a strange family.
