Victoria had a very high “Q” (not IQ) rating during her run, meaning she was the most recognizable member of the cast. She was also in that movie “Casual Sex?” which did well.

This was also a time when the women got much less attention than the men on SNL. The most known woman on SNL was the church lady — played by a man.

When she appeared on Weekend Update one time, she stopped during her segment, took off her blonde wig (revealing brown hair) and said in a completely normal voice, "I can't do this any more", referring to the baby voice and ditzy persona. I can't find that clip online but always wondered if the baby voice was indeed a bit, or was the normal voice the bit just that night.
