I fucking love Drew Barrymore
I've been watching clips from her talk show, and I find it very entertaining in a bizarre but good way sometimes.
I know she gets criticized a lot on here, but there's something about her that I find very endearing. Stuff that I would think is phony coming from other people just seems real coming from her. Maybe it's because she had a rough upbringing, or that we're in the same age range, but I've always rooted for her. She's the type of person that you just want to give a hug too.

Drew seems very genuine, and as someone who was her age when E.T. came out, I've always rooted for her. She's also one of only a handful of actresses that females also like.

I worked with Drew once years ago planning the opening night party for one of her films. She was a total professional and showed up as the star of the film as well as the person in charge of the event going smoothly. She was very respectful and friendly to the staff and incredibly grateful to the waiter we had shadow her for the evening and treated him like a friend.
She was the first to arrive to oversee the final details and the last to leave after everyone had been thanked and tipped. We wished more of our clients were as conscientious.

OP can take his daisy dukes and make his way to the gas station. Maybe somebody will give him something to suck on to keep him quiet.
Drew needs better editing. Youtube videos of her show are superior to her televised shows because they cut out the filler.

For someone who literally spent her life in show business, her actions during the writers strike are a dark mark against her. She created a lot of ill will that will not be forgotten.

Her show is unwatchable which is too bad because she's has great guests. I also like the way she's styled for the show.

I can't help it, but I like Drew.
There was a scene between her and Anjelica Huston in "Ever After" that is touching, to me. (Drew played Cinderella; AH played Stepmother.) Drew asks AH if she ever loved her even a little. AH's face says "No." Drew's face just shows so much pain and sadness, you can feel it.

I went to a taping of her show and it was actually a really fun experience due in large part to her being so warm and friendly towards the audience.

R22. It's not FUCKING "too." It's "to"! "Too" is equated to "also" while "to" when used properly in your shit sentence would mean an action or direction. "You want to give the gift to her" versus "You want her to have a gift, too."

I think she's creepy and unprofessional the way she touches her guests and sits so close to them. She should stick to acting.

It's only too bad that she is nowhere near as warm and friendly toward her writers and striking colleagues, R24. Her 'zany, cutesy, rich hippie lady who is channeling her inner child' shtick is nothing but a character; in reality, she has proven to be as nasty as they come and what is even worse, she had the nerve to blame the damage to her reputation after she broke the strike on a misunderstanding that was blown out of proportion by a few random outrage junkies.
And R23, she was playing a character in a film, and one must assume that as a professional actress, she will be able to believably portray the character's emotions. An emotive Cinderella performance doesn't make anyone a genuinely good person, you fool.

I briefly dated the brother of her boyfriend at the time. I never met her but I did hear a story from back then (through the grapvine, not from my BF) that when they were hanging out in our hometown, she wanted to attend local parties and just chill and be 'normal'. But in order to do so, she always required that these flyers/papers were passed to everyone in the group and that they need to sign. They were NDAs.
