Are Hudson, NY’s sidewalks safe for NYC hipsters?

Hudson NY is an overrated upstate trash town! Albany is more fun at this point.

I thought Hudson was interesting. One fun shopping street and a cool waterfront and everything else looks Rust Belt.

Fun if you enjoy paying $7 for a cup of coffee in the middle of nowhere.

Hudson is the "urban" core of Columbia County. If you want hip, progressive, cool, whatever ... Chatham.

Bring your credit card and watch your pronouns!

That every third building is a halfway house or some sort of prison facility puts a damper of the swellness the town so desperately wants to have.

R7 Or empty! My partner and I went this spring and only every fifth store front was occupied. Whole blocks with rows of “For Rent” signs. It was like a dead mall.

Plus there was loud, active construction all over the sidewalks of the main strip on a Saturday. It was really disappointing.
