'Only Murders in the Building' season 4

Season 3 thread.

I don't particularly like the show, but I watch it. I don't know why.

It’s too twee. The leads go so far over the top (minus Selena, who gives such a flat performance and whose character would never hang out with those old guys).

Selena is so nasal and monotone, I just don't get the appeal.

It’s a cozy mystery with a heavy emphasis on humor.

It’s comfort food.

I'll only watch if M is the murder victim.

Just watched the first episode. Thought it was really good

This seasons opening episode grabbed me, season 3 was meh

Maybe I should try again R9. I couldn't get through season 3.

Is Selena an better of an actress this season?

I've enjoyed Selena in all three seasons so far.

R10 yes, try again. Season 4 is like season one.

The inclusion of Zach Galifianakis, Eugene Levy, and especially Eva Longoria has dumbed this down even further and ruins any fun there is. Her hamminess is beyond any hamminess called for..

Am I the only one who thinks this season is dragging? Way too many subplots and guest stars. Also, Paul Rudd has never been anything but incredibly annoying on this show. I can’t believe they’ve brought him back not once but twice after being killed off.

Watched an ep or two and forgot about it.

What was the point of Melissa McCarthy’s appearance? This is show hitting Will & Grace levels of stunt casting. At this point they should change the title to Only Starfuckers in the Building.

Every time Tina Fey has been on the show, it hasn’t added anything.

This show is so meandering and repetitive. I think I’ve officially entered my hate watching phase.

I find the scenes with the three leads hamming it up insufferable, mostly Short and Martin. Sorry.

I enjoy when they have scenes involving the various eccentrics who live in the building.

I do love the occasional Jackie Hoffman moments

I don’t think it’s jumped the shark exactly, but it’s certainly lost the attention of the public.

I got through the whole season and was left underwhelmed. It’s no longer a fun mystery but a showcase for unending guest stars to ham it up. This show is so far up its own ass it’s crazy.

Time to wrap up this self-indulgent star vehicle.

First season was okay

Second season improved a lot despite that awful Cara Delevingne woman

Third season improved again thanks to Meryl and Paul Rudd

Fourth season dropped a bit but came alive thanks to Jane Lynch and Molly Shannon.

But it really is getting tired and they're running out of ideas.

They murdered LESTER the Doorman!!!
