What a fall from grace. He was the quintessential character actor in the 1980's and 1990's: Amadeus, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Howard the Duck, Beetlejuice, Without a Clue, The Hunt for Red October, Ed Wood, The Crucible, The Devil's Advocate, Sleepy Hollow, Heartbreakers, and Deadwood.
In 2003, Jones was charged with soliciting a male minor to pose for nude photographs. Hones pleaded no contest and had several subsequent arrests for failure to update his status as a sex offender.
Tim Burton has confirmed he will not appear in the new Beetlejuice film. What a loser who wasted a good career. No sympathy.

Worked on Deadwood and saw him in the craft services tent a few times. He was definitely eccentric. He claimed to subscribe to Russian and Chinese newspapers. He did seem to be harmless but I was way past 13 by that time.
