Very interesting and unusual how important the VP seems to be in this race for both sides. It looks like Harris is signaling she won't put a damper or a muzzle on him, which I think is exactly right. The traditional thinking is that you'd never allow the VP to overshadow the top of the ticket as an orator or whatever, but I think the Harris campaign should just lean all the way into any and every strength they have. Their great rapport and chemistry provides yet another contrast to Trump/Vance who visibly can't stand being in the same room.

Occam's Razor (simplest explanation) -- the shooter was real. All of it was real. And maybe Trump's ear was grazed by a bullet but it looked fine some days later.
