Played by Mika Monroe?

I do think there's a lot of public interest in this but, I wonder how Britney will fare with a biopic while she's still alive. I hope she gets better, honestly.

Michelle Williams as Britney is my casting choice
by Anonymous | reply 4 | August 1, 2024 7:54 PM |
R3 it is based off her book so she will inevitably be involved or at least paid well.

My choice as Britney would be Lens Dunham.

I’ll rejoice when I stop seeing the overly tired gays rejoice

Casting calls at Alabama Piggly Wigglys will commence right after the next Funyun delivery.

I think Florence Pugh would be a good candidate for the role. They have a similar body type and look (or at least, did)

Retard roles almost always win Oscars so this will undoubtedly be a highly coveted part.

I almost feel like making any movie about her would be cruel regardless of what's in it.

We need to be thinking titles... You know they are going to poll Datalounge.
"Too Much...Too Soon... Too Late"?

A digitally refreshed Sharon Stone will bring so much to this complex, nuanced role.

She sold the rights so it’s not as if she minds.

Ben Platt as Britney of course

The scene of Britney’s father forcing her to get an IUD will be taught at Juilliard for generations to come.

Universal and Donna Langley were so blown away by the upcoming Wicked films that they wanted Jon M. Chu to direct this high-profile movie. Langley was so impressed with Jonathan Bailey's work in Wicked that she cast him in the huge Jurassic World reboot.

I’m most surprised Wicked Pictures isn’t behind the production in the first place.

When I was a kid we had biopics about Tina Turner and Jim Morrison. This is just pathetic.

if it's dark, dramatic, serious it could be a hit.

Viola Davis IS Brittney Spears!!!!

Felicia (her former assistant) wants Emma Roberts and Timmy to play Britney and Timberlake
by Anonymous | reply 22 | August 7, 2024 6:38 PM |
I actually think this would be a very captivating picture if done right with the right casting.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | August 7, 2024 6:40 PM |
Cast an unknown.
by Anonymous | reply 24 | August 7, 2024 6:41 PM |
I've already turned it down

How does one design such a costume? Best guess is they take a Cher/Bob Mackie knockoff and let hyenas have at it.

Who will they cast to play the Queen when DC was the opening act for Britney Spears in 2000 tour.

You're Wrong About did a 4 part review of her book. A lot of juicy stuff here and potential to examine how society treats girls. Would love to see Sofia Coppola's take on the material.

I agree, but of course it won't be dark, dramatic, and serious. I'm sure there will be some type of happy, Hollywood ending.

Will they show my cooter?
by Anonymous | reply 31 | August 7, 2024 8:10 PM |
R29 Agreed that this would be a perfect project for Coppola. Every film she's made has basically been a different deconstructed take on 'Lucky'--"she's so lucky, she's a star, but she cry, cry, cries..."
