Direct to Midwest drive-ins

by Anonymousreply 1August 1, 2024 5:26 PM

Played by Mika Monroe?

by Anonymousreply 2August 1, 2024 5:40 PM

I do think there's a lot of public interest in this but, I wonder how Britney will fare with a biopic while she's still alive. I hope she gets better, honestly.

by Anonymousreply 3August 1, 2024 7:09 PM

Michelle Williams as Britney is my casting choice

by Anonymousreply 4August 1, 2024 7:54 PM

R3 it is based off her book so she will inevitably be involved or at least paid well.

by Anonymousreply 5August 1, 2024 8:06 PM

My choice as Britney would be Lens Dunham.

by Anonymousreply 6August 1, 2024 8:08 PM

I’ll rejoice when I stop seeing the overly tired gays rejoice

by Anonymousreply 7August 1, 2024 8:36 PM

Casting calls at Alabama Piggly Wigglys will commence right after the next Funyun delivery.

by Anonymousreply 8August 1, 2024 8:42 PM

I think Florence Pugh would be a good candidate for the role. They have a similar body type and look (or at least, did)

by Anonymousreply 9August 1, 2024 8:46 PM

Retard roles almost always win Oscars so this will undoubtedly be a highly coveted part.

by Anonymousreply 10August 1, 2024 8:51 PM

I almost feel like making any movie about her would be cruel regardless of what's in it.

by Anonymousreply 11August 1, 2024 9:19 PM

We need to be thinking titles... You know they are going to poll Datalounge.

"Too Much...Too Soon... Too Late"?

by Anonymousreply 12August 1, 2024 9:52 PM

A digitally refreshed Sharon Stone will bring so much to this complex, nuanced role.

by Anonymousreply 13August 1, 2024 9:55 PM

She sold the rights so it’s not as if she minds.

by Anonymousreply 14August 1, 2024 10:08 PM

Ben Platt as Britney of course

by Anonymousreply 15August 1, 2024 10:22 PM

The scene of Britney’s father forcing her to get an IUD will be taught at Juilliard for generations to come.

Universal and Donna Langley were so blown away by the upcoming Wicked films that they wanted Jon M. Chu to direct this high-profile movie. Langley was so impressed with Jonathan Bailey's work in Wicked that she cast him in the huge Jurassic World reboot.

I’m most surprised Wicked Pictures isn’t behind the production in the first place.

by Anonymousreply 18August 2, 2024 1:18 AM

When I was a kid we had biopics about Tina Turner and Jim Morrison. This is just pathetic.

by Anonymousreply 19August 3, 2024 6:57 AM

if it's dark, dramatic, serious it could be a hit.

by Anonymousreply 20August 3, 2024 6:59 AM

Viola Davis IS Brittney Spears!!!!

by Anonymousreply 21August 3, 2024 7:36 AM

Felicia (her former assistant) wants Emma Roberts and Timmy to play Britney and Timberlake

I actually think this would be a very captivating picture if done right with the right casting.

by Anonymousreply 23August 7, 2024 6:40 PM

Cast an unknown.

by Anonymousreply 24August 7, 2024 6:41 PM

I've already turned it down

by Anonymousreply 25August 7, 2024 6:47 PM

How does one design such a costume? Best guess is they take a Cher/Bob Mackie knockoff and let hyenas have at it.

by Anonymousreply 26August 7, 2024 6:56 PM

Memoirs of a Fat Whore

by Anonymousreply 27August 7, 2024 6:58 PM

Who will they cast to play the Queen when DC was the opening act for Britney Spears in 2000 tour.

by Anonymousreply 28August 7, 2024 6:58 PM

You're Wrong About did a 4 part review of her book. A lot of juicy stuff here and potential to examine how society treats girls. Would love to see Sofia Coppola's take on the material.

by Anonymousreply 29August 7, 2024 7:07 PM

I agree, but of course it won't be dark, dramatic, and serious. I'm sure there will be some type of happy, Hollywood ending.

by Anonymousreply 30August 7, 2024 8:02 PM

Will they show my cooter?

by Anonymousreply 31August 7, 2024 8:10 PM

R29 Agreed that this would be a perfect project for Coppola. Every film she's made has basically been a different deconstructed take on 'Lucky'--"she's so lucky, she's a star, but she cry, cry, cries..."
