They really are beginning to panic.

I also believe she will win. If you'd asked me a couple of weeks ago you'd have realized how screwed up I was over the state of things election-wise. Stick a fork in Trump, he is done.

Kamala is running a shrewd campaign.

All the gimmicks like "White Dudes for Kamala", the name calling (hey, it worked for Trump), the 180 degree turnaround on some progressive policies...it's paying off. She's done a rebranding and the media is playing along. There will be no investigative journalism or hard-ball questions for Kamala. And she's wisely avoided all interviews and press conferences.

[quote] the 180 degree turnaround on some progressive policies

R2, which policies are you talking about?

by Anonymousreply 3August 1, 2024 4:11 AM

R3 "She no longer supports a ban on fracking, a campaign official said, nor does she support expanding the Supreme Court. She no longer backs a single-payer health care system, after previously endorsing a “Medicare for All” proposal, the campaign official confirmed, or a government-run gun-buyback program. Harris also supports additional border funding put forward by the Biden administration, a break from her 2020 primary stance that Immigration and Customs Enforcement should, at a minimum, be reformed." - The Hill 07/31/24
