Would a spot of color kill him?

Also, did he spend his college years stealing directional signs? That seems to be largely what is on the walls. At least it's not "Live Laugh Love", I guess.

It looks like a bachelor's pad. Very masculine aesthetic.

Not that there's anything wrong with it - I like it.

Just an observation.

Why do people insist on bringing in new vampires when the old ones have been driven out???

Could the people who live in LA please share something with me? Why is it that some seemingly unremarkable houses sell for scandalous amounts of money (USD 20 million or more) and yet, others in the same area sell for much less - which would be the case for this property?

The house looks like it has been staged to look like a furniture catalogue and the construction's chosen theme appears to be 'Dubai Hotel Aesthetic', but it's very luminous and I guess that with a different colour scheme and cozier furnishings, it would look much more inviting.

It's very impressive, though.

I love the home.... however, some color would be nice.

Putting green has to go, unless hot golfers-caddies want to get naked& play Golf. Turn it into a miniature golf course.

It must have been staged.

It's being marketed as Rob L's house also. For some reason people want to live in famous people's homes. If memory serves, I thought Rob had a place in the valley near Disney for some reason. His main residence is in SB.

Do rich people all have an entourage to fill up the space? I love spending my Saturdays at home alone but if I was looking at all of those empty loungers and two levels of empty chairs I’d get so depressed!

His son has been being interviewed for some new show and he doesn't have his father's looks or charisma although he seems very confident. In the 80's I had a crush on Rob Lowe and Jon Bon Jovi too bad their kids took after their mom's looks.

It’s beautiful. If I had the money, I would buy it.

by Anonymousreply 10July 30, 2024 3:27 PM

It's as deadly dull as that hulking ugly pile he sold in Montecito a few years ago.

What more is there to say: the man has bad taste.

by Anonymousreply 11July 30, 2024 3:30 PM

Dullsville. Rob is very pretty, his houses not so much. He seems to have an aversion to colour

R9 I had never seen Rob Lowe's son before so I went to Google him. Why does he look the same age as his father with the same lines on his face? Sometimes father is not like son.

Seems fairly priced. I like the privacy of the backyard. Not inspiring inside but also not offensive.

by Anonymousreply 16July 30, 2024 9:05 PM

R16 Rob is a very interesting man. He has a very metrosexual fashion sense, but his taste in decor is rather plain. You're right it's inoffensive, pbut it's a little surprising from a big star.

by Anonymousreply 17July 30, 2024 9:14 PM

He bought it for 3.75 and now wants 6.6 mil? It's OK - but not for that price.

Looks like a bachelor's pad alright - too dark - too much black and grey. Black is an accent color - particularly in SoCal. I hate it any other way - in a sunny climate that is.
