OH, this is just delicious....
Harris is 'driving Donald Trump crazy' by 'dominating' headlines
by Anonymous | reply 40 | July 30, 2024 10:51 PM |
That is rich. I've been thinking the same. After a long cycle focusing on the health and mental lapses and bizarre answers if the two candidates, suddenly a new candidate, "a spring chicken", always smiling, in the moment, and exuding confidence and momentum and even forward motion -- it's as though she's always photographed and filmed sprinting from one engagement to another, looking presidential.
Visually, it's quite a change after a.month of Biden with his mouth open looking lost, and Trump going off on crazy tangents with his fucking Van Gogh ear bandage and his dirtbag band of bumpkins.

It's a short trip.

It's all the more delicious because she is the epitome of everything he hates: a strong, intelligent black woman and a prosecutor who is not intimidated by him and sees him exactly for what he is. She's his worst nightmare.

His whole life has been leading up to this moment, i.e. of getting his ass beat by a black female prosecutor. I bet she appeared to him in his dreams like the Ghost of Christmas Future the night he took out that deplorable Central Park Five ad.

White Dudes for Harris raised $4M tonight then their Twitter account was suspended. No doubt Trump was behind it.

This evening she rolled out the phrase “Trump Abortion Ban” to refer to any state law restricting abortion rights.
He’s gonna HATE that. We’ll hear it a lot.
About time the Dems played the naming game.

The TRUMP ABORTION BAN, keep using it.
by Anonymous | reply 11 | July 30, 2024 7:23 PM |
Trump and Vance are just WEIRD.
by Anonymous | reply 12 | July 30, 2024 7:28 PM |
Now would be a great time to resurrect ads from 2016 where they just showed video of Trump’s speeches. People have really forgotten how batshit crazy he is.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | July 30, 2024 7:38 PM |
Meanwhile the RCP average of polls has ticked up to a 1.9% lead for Trump over Harris.
..........
The latest Harvard University/HarrisX Poll. July 26-28,
"Do you approve or disapprove the job that Donald Trump did as president?"
54% Approve
..........
"The approval of the Democratic Party is up to 45% but still trails that of the GOP".
..........
"If the 2024 election for President were held today and it was between Donald Trump, the Republican and Kamala Harris, the Democrat, who would you vote for?"
Trump 48%.
Kamala 45%
..........
I believe that tomorrow 538 will begin posting Trump vs. Harris polls.

She’s been calling it that for a long time. The media is only just now picking up on it and showing video.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | July 30, 2024 7:45 PM |
I am so tired of these "approval" type question. They are dumb and misleading. I don't approve of some of my daughters behavior, therefore I will not support her? That's the twisted logic in that question.
Tell us who you plan to vote for, that's all that matters.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | July 30, 2024 7:54 PM |
The media jumped all over Obama Care when they first tried to make that a slur. Funny how now they are dragging their feet with the Trump Abortion Ban.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | July 30, 2024 7:55 PM |
@r16, Yeah, polls can suck a bag of dicks. Even when they're positive I don't trust them at all. Now I've read that Trump has invested heavily in companies that take polls. Surprise!
by Anonymous | reply 18 | July 30, 2024 8:13 PM |
Polls are meaningless.
Until they show your side is winning.
by Anonymous | reply 19 | July 30, 2024 8:15 PM |
Instead of constantly relying on polls, we should always just WORK AS HARD AS WE CAN to get Democrats elected this Fall.
Period.
Fundies don't give a crap about polls.
They're constantly plotting and scheming to take over.
That's how we need to start operating.
View politics as a constant battle, rather than just something we engage in every four years.

It's about time. The 45th POTUS has dominated headlines well before the 2016 elections. I was already sick of him then.
Little known fact, everytime his name is said or typed, the GOP gets $1.

I watched OP's video up to the point where the Harris spokeswoman was flummoxed when asked by the MSNBC host what her position was on the border.
WHY don't they keep bringing up that there was a bipartisan agreement to deal with the issue and Donald Trump told his flunkies in Congress to nix it?

[quote]WHY don't they keep bringing up that there was a bipartisan agreement to deal with the issue and Donald Trump told his flunkies in Congress to nix it?
Maybe because they know the opposition will bring up the fact that Joe Biden did away with Title 42. With Remain in Mexico.
Maybe the opposition will bring up the fact that the Dems rejected the HR2 Secure the Border Act. And the Laiken Riley act.
Or they might bring up the fact that the Dem's "Sanctuary Cities" refuse, as policy, the cooperation with ICE.
Maybe it's things like that...

R25 Idiot Joe Biden calling on immigrants to surge at the border.
His objective in his own words:
by Anonymous | reply 27 | July 30, 2024 9:31 PM |
Harris is not Biden. She couldn't tell him what to do.
It's still a good talking point about Trump calling the Congressman to vote the bipartisan agreement down. A lot of people won't go any deeper into the weeds.

[quote]Harris is not Biden. She couldn't tell him what to do.
She was an integral part of his presidency. A cheerleader to his policies.
CNN Thu March 7, 2024:
"During his 2020 presidential campaign, Joe Biden promised a stark departure from the immigration policies of the Trump administration."
"He pledged a 100-day moratorium on deportations after taking office. He promised to protect sanctuary cities from federal law enforcement agencies."
"“We could afford to take in a heartbeat another two million,” Biden said at one event in August 2019. “The idea that a country of 330 million people cannot absorb people who are in desperate need and who are justifiably fleeing oppression is absolutely bizarre.”
"Upon taking office, Biden...(...)...directed law enforcement agencies to narrow the pool of undocumented immigrants vulnerable to arrest, detention and removal; and raised the refugee resettlement ceiling to 125,000 people."
"The Biden administration also reversed the so-called “Remain in Mexico” program, which required asylum seekers to wait in Mexico while their cases were reviewed by US immigration courts, and ended the Trump-instituted Title 42, the public health order that allowed for the quick expulsion of migrants without hearing their asylum claims, in the spring of 2023."
Funny how Dems suddenly have amnesia.
The Biden/Harris goal of flooding the US with immigrants was a success.

When you're the VP your fricking JOB is to be a cheerleader.
Imagine her giving speeches opposing her boss's decisions. WTF? Has that ever happened?
by Anonymous | reply 32 | July 30, 2024 10:11 PM |
A piece in The Atlantic said that she got Biden's approval because of her loyalty to him even when she was feeling very frustrated in the role. Had she ever contradicted him publicly, she would not be the candidate today.
However, the border is tricky. The Republicans don't know what the fuck to do either. There is no short term solution imo and anyone who says I can fix it, I can stop it, I'll build a wall!, I'll send them all back is just bullshitting.

Oh please, this is the woman who wants ABOLISH ICE.
Listen to this cunt:

The immigration/"border" solution needs to come from Congress via legislation. She needs to just punt the blame to Congress for failing to pass the bipartisan bill.
by Anonymous | reply 35 | July 30, 2024 10:25 PM |
Exactly, R35 !!!
by Anonymous | reply 36 | July 30, 2024 10:29 PM |
ICE is a disaster, not fit for purpose and its goal of 100% removal is complete fantasy. It's relatively new, it hasn't worked. Of course, it needs to be replaced by a more effective agency and that requires bipartisan cooperation.
by Anonymous | reply 37 | July 30, 2024 10:33 PM |
Dump's solution was to build a wall which Mexico was going to pay for. He needs to be called out as to why zero feet of wall was built under his leadership.
