Elder gays: were any of you married with children before coming out?

My husband was divorced with two teens.

R1 how old were you and the hubby. Also were you the whore that broke up the marriage?

One of the big shocks for me, coming out, was how many gay men did try to pull off straight lives first. It's a significant minority, at least in eldergays. I suppose (and hope) in the last twenty or thirty years there's been far less pressure on gay men. But the number of guys I hear casually refer to their ex-wives or children from straight marriages always surprises me.

In Boys in the Band this was explained away as “bisexual but with a decided preference”…..

30 and 50, roughly. And they were long divorced when I came on the scene.
