But I don't want to fuck couches.

OMG. That's hilarious. I know that's a Super PAC and not Kamala's campaign, but, clearly, Dems are aligned on painting Repubs as gross WEIRDOS. Honestly, Dems sometimes suck at messaging, they've got their shit together this time!

Funny to see the MAGAts in the comments pretending not to be annoyed.

Where’s the obese bald guy with the goatee in the ad? Because those fat creeps are EVERYWHERE around here.

I recall a study that found people who had contracted COVID-19 showed stronger aversion responses when presented with images intended to evoke disgust. With that in mind, the recent "weird" messaging seems clever as it taps into that collective post-COVID-19 Ick-mania, particularly as it's aimed at women voters, who, on average, tend to have lower Disgust Tolerance, as psychologists term it. However, I wouldn't emphasize this approach too much or for too long. While it might have that lizard-brain appeal of MAGA rhetoric, there's also an underbelly of ableism in this ad. Did they have to make the speakers grotesque caricatures of basement-dwelling autistic men, reinforcing long-ingrained associations of ugliness and disability with depravity?

I showed this to both my sisters and my mom. They said the actors were spot on, in their portrayals. My oldest sister's only beefs: no make pastor/priest and no "pick me" Karen.

That was hilarious!

Thanks for posting, OP!

I'm glad they brought up Mike Johnson and his son monitoring each other's porn usage.

Effective ad. It should run during the Olympics.
