Has it only been a week since Biden dropped out?
It seems much longer.
Anyway, between this and Vance, I assume GOP leadership is panicking.

The panic hasn't quite settled in yet, but insofar as they realize the polls have moved it back to competitive, they've had to go back to stealing the election and aren't talking about "landslides" or "mandates" any more. When they'll panic is when Kamala takes a commanding lead in 3 of the 6 swing states and tied or slightly ahead in the remaining 3. You'll be able to read the desperation as they accuse Democrats of voter fraud, cheating and outright election theft (which using our handy election facts translator means Democratic voter registration is through the roof, turnout operations reporting tens of millions of door knocks, calls and letters, and celebrity after celebrity from entertainment, political and social media endorse Kamala).
And, of course, the most easily identifiable moment of realization that they're going down (bigly) is when Trump sees he's losing, going to at least stand trial for his crimes, and is likely headed to prison. He'll be so scared he won't be able to even make his incoherent rambling word-like noises before his angry mobs.
The only thing better than Republican panic is irrefutable Republican loss, and while I hesitate to prognosticate because anything is possible, .it's starting to look good for the Dems,

Just want to remind everyone that having the money advantage doesn’t guarantee victory. Trump won with half the amount of money Hillary had in her war chest.

It's not quite about the money, r2. It's about the enthusiasm for Harris.

If anyone caught any part of Trump's comedy show last night, you will see how panicked he is. The guy is a mess and should drop out of the race.

I've had the same thought, R4, but can he drop out now? They've had their convention and nominated him and Vance, whereas the Democrats hadn't gone through the formal process yet. I know the deadline the Democrats have set is August 7 which I believe corresponds to the deadlines set by the states, so we'll all just have to wait and hold our breath that the GQP doesn't try to replace him at the last minute (although with whom is the real question; Vance is a toxic couchfucker who would go down by double-digits if he were at the top of the ticket this year. Even [italic]they[/italic] don't like him).

R5 I watched about twenty minutes of him last night on FOX (MSNBC was repeating Monday night's special coverage). His speech was incoherent, at best. I have no idea what he was saying but he was trying to make everyone laugh.
And they wisely put three (well-paid, I'm sure) black people in the front row right behind him.

r5 if Trump dropped out, they would lose in November by a historic landslide.
Unlike the Dems, the GOP is nothing more now than a cult of personality, with Trump as their leader.

I want to see Maya Rudolph dressed as Kamala with a martini in a bathtub full of cash.

This fall's SNL is going to have some killer skits, r10.

FOX "News" is trying to talk down their viewers (including, I assume, Dump).

[quote] It's not quite about the money, [R2]. It's about the enthusiasm for Harris.
It's not even about enthusiasm for Harris right now. It's about having a viable candidate that is NOT Trump. She raised $200 million in a week and is now polling even with Trump in swing states just because she is NOT Trump. The electorate barely knows her but the Dems have 99 days and $200 million to raise her profile, eviscerate Trump with attack ads and get her across the finish line. It's a sprint not a marathon and she has the advantage.

R17 that is a favorability rating. You can count on Fox News to make it seem that Trump is down in the polls and Harris is surging because it needs to keep eyes on the screen, keep outrage high and push MAGA voters to the polls. Fox News polls always favor the Democrat.

The higher she polls the more difficult it will be for Vlad's hackers to rig the election. Up til now Biden was lagging- a perfect scenario for them.
I bet the Russiapublicans are searching her rubbish bins for any shred of komoromat they can use against her.

Did that Abigail Disney cunt donate to Kamala ?

R20, I think you meant to write "hooray for her" and she is going to WIN.
